Upward Basketball
It’s time to tip off our 5th Annual UPWARD Basketball season. This year’s season will once again be under the direction of John Raizor. If you would like to reach John to ask any questions, he can be reached at 502-633-1317 (office) or at 502-321-1599 (cell).
Registration Information
Registration forms can be picked up at the church office at 1516 Midland Trail or in a number of businesses around the community. The early registration cost per child for basketball is $55; after December 2, the cost is $65. Deadline for registration is December 10. Basketball shorts are optional at a cost of $15. Please make checks payable to Shelbyville First Baptist Church.

Evaluations & Sign-Ups
Everyone MUST attend one basketball evaluation. Evaluations will take place at Shelbyville First Baptist Church as follows for Kindergarten through 8th Grade Boys & Girls:
- Tuesday, December 6, between 5:30pm and 8:00pm.
- Thursday, December 8, between 5:30pm and 8:00pm.
- Saturday, December 10, between 9:00am and 12:00pm.
League Schedule
- Practices begin the week of January 2, 2012.
- First Game – Saturday, January 14, 2012.
- Awards Celebration – Tuesday, March 13, 2012
