Nehemiah Sermon Series

Beginning on New Year’s Day, January 1st, Pastor Steve will begin a new sermon series that will take us through the entire Book of Nehemiah. Pastor Steve is calling the series:  Nehemiah: Repentance, Rebuilding, Revival. Nehemiah was one of the greatest spiritual and practical leaders in the entire Bible. Plan to be present throughout this series to learn leadership lessons from Nehemiah, one of history’s greatest leaders.

Regular Worship Services

You have your own style, and at Shelbyville First Baptist, you’ll find a church service that’s just right for you. Our Contemporary Service starts at 8:30 AM and features casual dress (even the pastor doesn’t wear a tie), contemporary worship music, and an informal style. Our Traditional Service offers a more traditional worship experience and begins at 11:00 AM. Whatever your style, you’ll find a spiritual connection that will enrich your week and your life.

Our pastor preaches the same message in both services.  In each message, he strives simply to preach and teach what the Lord says through the Bible.  At 9:45 AM we have Bible Fellowship Classes for children, students, and adults of all ages.
