The Women’s Ministry of First Baptist Church exists to help women become all they can be in Christ Jesus. We want women to know who God is and who they are as Christians through ministries of evangelism and discipleship. We want women to enjoy the fulfillment of knowing, trusting, and supporting one another through ministries of encouragement. We want women to know their strengths and use them to build God’s kingdom and to build one another up through acts of service. Our hope and prayer is that each woman who participates will become a godly woman, strong in her
faith and convictions, pure in her love and friendships, and certain of God’s promises and her life purpose.
Fall and spring Bible studies designed to meet the needs of women, and a women’s mentoring ministry are key components of reaching, maturing, and equipping women.
