First Responder's Appreciation Community Event Weekend

Shelbyville First Baptist Church invites all Shelby County First Responders to join us for our 12th year of celebration to honor and pray for the First Responder community of Shelby County. You are always there for us when we need you. This annual event is to honor your service and your families who stand behind you.
Saturday, August 29
3:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
First Responder Carnival
The community is invited to come meet our First Responders to see the units and equipment they use to keep our community safe. There will be games for the First Responders and bounce houses for the kids.
5:00 p.m.
Dinner Honoring First Responders and Their Families
Our church wants to honor the service and sacrifices of Shelby County First Responders by hosting a dinner in their honor. First Responders and their families are invited to attend. First Responders will receive a special gift. There will be drawings for some fabulous door prizes, including a $500 cash prize. You must be present to win.
Sunday Worship, August 30
10:30 a.m.
This will be a special time of worship when our church family will honor and pray for First Responders in our county. All First Responders have a special invitation to join us and are encouraged to come in uniform, as various branches of service will be recognized in the service.
